201 4 T wenty-year-old ATV racer Davi Haagsma from Bakersfield, California, has proven himself
the man to beat on the West Coast
ATV motocross scene. In 2012, he took
the Quadcross Pro title from five-time
champ and Yamaha factory-supported
racer Dustin Nelson. His H&M/Maxxis
teammate Beau Baron finished right
behind Dustin for third. The 2012
WORCS races brought the exact
opposite, with Beau garnering a second championship and Davi finishing
up third to Beau and Josh Frederick.
For 2013, Beau Baron had lined up
Polaris support for a run at the SxS Pro
Production class. With this in mind,
H&M decided that a shot at two championships was better than one, opting
to build Davi a RZR 570 for the SxS
Production 700 class. In stock form,
the RZR 570 would actually qualify for
the SxS 600 class, but the 700 class
offered a lot more competition.
