Unless you’ve been quietly living under a rock for the past few years, you’ve probably noticed the immense growth and recent popularity of UTV racing across the globe. While becoming hugely popular worldwide, the West Coast’s more open, desert-like terrain might possibly be the Mecca for side-by-side racing. The WORCS races
pit some of the best motorcycle, ATV and SxS racers against motocross-type tracks, which also include an off-road
section through the surrounding desert. While side-by-side racing is relatively new compared to ATVs and motorcycles,
you wouldn’t know it from the entry numbers. The last WORCS race we went to in Primm, Nevada, the total UTV
entries topped the 100-car mark, making it easily the largest UTV-racing organization in the world.
