MARCH 2014 / 4-WHEEL ATV ACTION 25
When Arctic Cat sprung the original Wildcat on the xtreme-sport UTV scene,
they didn’t hold anything back.
The Cat’s claws were out, with a
1000cc engine, power steering and
more suspension travel than any
production UTV ever offered. It is
awesome if your idea of fun was
strafing desert whoops at 65 mph
with passing power to spare, but
it isn’t allowed on trails limited to
50-inch-wide machines. Now, the
Minnesota crew has something for
trail riders: an all-new, 50-inch-wide
machine. For its size, it’s as big on
performance as the 1000.
