hand-cut out of a special foam, then
lubricated for minimal friction and
heat before being stuffed inside the
tire. The Tire Blocks-equipped tires
feel like they are full of air before you
even add any. The Tire Blocks system
will not only get you to the finish line
unscathed, but it also improves traction in slippery conditions. In the past
two years, Tire Blocks has quickly
become the run flat of choice for
WORCS and the SCORE/Bi TD desert
So, how’s it run? It is amazingly
quick! An unheard of power-to-weight
ratio has the RZR 570 ripping off
the line harder than a stock XP 900.
Davi skipped the first WORCS race in
Phoenix because it was under a foot
of water and his car was brand new.
Round two was at Primm, Nevada, and
he not only won his first SxS race, but
he also won the overall race, beating
out 11 racers in the 850cc class, as
well as the seven entries in his own
700 class. Rounds two through eight
were a whole lot more of the same;
Davi has won every SxS 700-class
race that he’s entered, and he beat the
bigger cars in more than half of them.
The H&M Maxxis driver actually
wrapped up the SxS 700-class championship a round early with a seventh
straight win in Milford. With a championship already in the bag, it should
be interesting to see what Davi does
for the final round at Primm. It would
be really cool to see a 570 entered in
Pro Production against the 900s and

David Haagsma sat out the muddy first WORCS round in Arizona because he
didn’t want to trash his brand-new Sparks/Holz/Polaris RZR 620, but he has
trashed the SxS 700 Production class for seven consecutive rounds. Here he
pulls the holeshot at Sand Hollow in Utah.
A Mastercraft seat and five-point harness are Davi’s office furniture, and
WORCS rules mandate the doors, roof, nets (not shown) and extinguisher.
Holz makes long-travel +4-inch (shown) and +6-inch A-arms for the RZR 570,
and a fully adjustable HRP torsion bar replaces the stock bar. Walker Evans
Racing piggyback shocks sport dual-rate springs for more progressive action.
Front travel is 12 inches, and Davi runs Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires on lightweight
DWT beadlock wheels with the Tire Blocks flat-prevention system.
