The all-new Viking 700FI UTV is
designed for more utility, but it has
more power and suspension travel
than the Rhino it replaces for trail
riding and exploring. It’s available
with or without EPS too!
pinion steering geometry is designed for a light, linear steering
feel. Better yet, the Viking is available with Yamaha’s Electronic
where the Rhino engine did, the Viking parking brake and range
selector are on the dash, and the 2WD/4WD/diff-lock system is
replaced by a RZR-like partial cover, but with better fasteners—
intake. Four cup holders ride on the full dash, and the glovebox
is huge. The Viking also comes in red, Hunter Green, Steel Blue
and Realtree AP-HD, and all but the Steel Blue versions come
Yamaha aimed the new Viking at the Polaris Ranger XP 800
and gave the Viking more headroom, power, a 3.1 inch-lower
center seat. Also, the all-steel cargo bed holds 600 pounds, and
the Viking will tow 1500 pounds.
The three-seat cabin has a pass-through design, and the center
backseat is tilted 76mm rearward to give everyone more shoulder
room. Ergonomic design gives the two passengers more elbow room
on the padded grab bar, which has 85mm of adjustment.
