YZF-R1M MOTO GP-INSPIRED SPORT BIKE
The YZF-R1M’s 998cc, four-cylinder, double-overhead-cam, 16-valve engine makes 180 horsepower, enough to
let the bike rip a 2.6-second zero-to- 60 time and cover the
quarter mile in the high 9s. Its Moto GP-inspired electronics
are just as amazing, allowing the rider to coordinate the
R1M’s power delivery and traction control to provide slide
control, wheel-lift control, shift control, launch control, ABS
control and more.

YZ250F MOTOCROSS BIKE
The YZ250F motocross bike represents Yamaha’s purest
expression of performance in the dirt.
This closed-course racing machine has no lights or electric
starter, only the essentials for fast laps on brutally challenging
tracks. A double-overhead-cam, four-valve engine provides
a wide power curve with a high-rpm ceiling. An aluminum
frame and swingarm help hold the weight to a mere 231
pounds with fuel.
Look at the attention to power, handling and light weight on every part of the
YFZ450R ATV and you can see how Yamaha adapted its performance technology
to the YXZ1000R. The YFZ450R SE joins a fuel-injected, double-overhead-cam, five-valve engine with a hybrid aluminum/steel frame and fully adjustable
suspension to create a quad that is race-ready right from the dealer.
