The single-seater’s MacPherson strut front suspension
has 8. 2 inches of travel for a good balance of stability and
bottoming resistance. The Sportsman Ace is only 48 inches
wide, but a rear sway bar keeps it cornering flat and stable.
Double-A-arm, independent rear suspension delivers 9. 5
inches of travel.
FEATURES AND OPTIONS
There’s a large storage compartment under the front
rack and a small fixed cargo bed that accepts Polaris
Lock & Ride Accessories. Polaris also offers doors, a roof,
windshields, bumpers, rock sliders, winches, a stereo, and
tire and wheel kits for the Ace. ❏
A 32-horsepower, DOHC, four-valve single
powers the Ace. The 325cc engine has
plenty of punch for the light single-seater.
